This Can Begin Today!

Have you ever realized that what you’re longing for right now could actually begin right here, right now?

I was recently driving home from another day of filming, and this became very clear to me. 

I had been thinking a lot about how I could develop BACKSTAGE (my small-group concept) even further. I have lots of ideas. But every one of them requires more effort, more work, and the help of other people.

That day, I noticed that the messages we had just recorded were stronger than usual, and they had come together without much additional help or effort from anyone else. They had been formed IN ME…simply because I had been spending more time with God and in His Word. 

So I realized that I had been so busy thinking about what I could change that I almost missed what God wanted to change IN ME first.

Do you ever catch yourself doing the same thing?

Do you believe that what you’re longing for—a new job, a relationship, peace in your family, more stable finances—can only happen through extra effort or even the help of other people?

God often starts where we are right now: IN your family, IN your current job, IN your relationships.

The place doesn’t always have to change.Sometimes God simply changes US.

I realized: BACKSTAGE doesn’t need a major change. I simply need more of Jesus. 

Because the longer I spend time with Him, the fresher what flows out of my life becomes! 

God doesn’t need new circumstances in order to do something NEW.He simply needs a heart that encounters Him anew. 💙

And when He tells you, “I am doing a new thing!” (Isaiah 43:19, NIV), that doesn’t always mean it will happen somewhere else or through even more effort. 

Sometimes it simply begins ➡️ IN YOU!

You don’t need help from the outside today, because the One who wants to help you already lives IN YOU!

You are a miracle!
