This is the BEST way to start your day. ⏰

Publication date Nov 4, 2026

My alarm went off, and after a very quick prayer, I got up.

Hold on. Let’s be honest.

I hadn’t even managed to fold my hands in prayer, but my phone? It was already in my hand… And just as quickly, I had landed on a video called, “This Is What You Need to Pray in the Morning.”

Sounds good, right? But… 🚨

There are many posts out there that are apparently good based on their title, but their content, however, isn’t good for you because… they aren’t true. They aren’t based on the Bible!

How do I know this? Because the Holy Spirit within me wouldn’t let me rest.

Thankfully, He was already at work, even while I was still standing in front of the mirror, yawning.

When I went to look up some of the speaker’s statements, I couldn’t find them in the Bible… oh dear.

That showed me something we all need to know: Starting the day with prayer protects us from falsehood!

And we’re being flooded with falsehoods, aren’t we? How are we supposed to know what’s true and what’s good for us? How are we supposed to know what to believe?

God wants to show YOU this through the Holy Spirit, too.

That morning, after realizing just how dangerous my “I’ll just say a quick prayer to start the day. I’m so tired, God understands…” attitude really was, I sat down and opened my Bible with even greater intention. 📖

And there I read Psalm 5:3: “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” (Psalms 5:3, NIV)

David didn’t say this because he’d had a great night’s sleep! He was actually struggling, as you can tell from the verses before this one. But, he was certain that praying first thing in the morning is the best way to start the day.

And then simply let the Holy Spirit, not other people, be the one to guide you!

You are a miracle!
