Live From the Ending

Publication date Nov 8, 2026

Do you have a movie that you have already watched hundreds of times, but could still watch over and over again?

I’ll admit it, there’s a little romantic in me, so I love the movie “Sweet Home Alabama.” 🥰

Thankfully, because I already know how it ends, I can handle the suspense and the uncertainty in some scenes. I know everything will work out, so when I watch it now, I’m so relaxed during the movie that I can even go grab a snack while the biggest crisis is unfolding on screen.

That’s exactly how Paul lived. He wrote:

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long…So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

He didn’t allow himself to be distracted even though there was plenty weighing on him. Even though he was suffering!

That sounds almost impossible!

In the middle of all the chaos, in the middle of all the suffering, he stood up and, figuratively speaking, went and got himself some popcorn! 🍿

He didn’t ignore reality, but he saw beyond it! 🤩

He lived with the firm conviction that “what is visible today does not have the final say!”

He knew and believed how the story ends!

You also know how the story ends… but do you believe it, too?

Yes, maybe you’re heading into the same routine today. The same job. The same challenges. The same unanswered questions.

But why not step into today with a different perspective? 👀

Not with the question: “How is all of this going to turn out?”

But with the certainty: “The ending has already been written, and I will be victorious in Him!” 👑

Yes, the ending will be good. So live TODAY with joy and courage!

Thinking like Paul means:You don’t live toward God’s promises—you live FROM them!

How would your day change today if you consciously viewed everything through the lens of God’s promises?

You are a miracle!
