Seek strategy from God
There is a beautiful promised land awaiting you. It looks like a better job, more finances, personal peace, and happiness. To some of you, it looks like new skills, friendships, a home, or a new car. In fact, your promised land looks different than everyone else’s. For many people who are sick, miserable, or in bad marriages, their promised land could mean healing or freedom.
The Israelites spent 40 years in the desert. The land of milk and honey was just a few hundred yards away, but something was stopping them. Was it the Jordan River, the giants in the land, large armies with terrible weapons, or was it the lack of a plan?
Today’s practical step to help you cross over into a better future is strategy.
The Bible says, “‘Do what is right and good in the LORD’s sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the LORD promised on oath to your ancestors.’” (Deuteronomy 6:18, NIV) God has promises for you to enter into, but you will need to plan a proper and good strategy. Nothing great happens by accident.
friend, please ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom. Gather a small team of advisors to help you develop a game plan. “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” (Proverbs 15:22, NIV)
As I look back on my career and life, I can’t help but thank God for a handful of mentors, coaches, counselors, teachers, and pastors who have helped me. Books, seminars, and conferences have also helped me craft a winning strategy. You, too, can build the same type of strategy consultants.
Please don’t forget the 5 most important components of this strategy phase:
- Pray hard and give God your whole life.
- Write down the thoughts and strategies that come to your mind.
- Look for the best coaching, seminars, and conferences.
- Surround yourself with the best people you can find.
- Be generous with your money, time, and love. “‘I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.’” (Genesis 12:2, NIV)
friend, it’s time to dream about and strategize your next breakthrough because you are a miracle.
