The Boss wants to talk to you, friend!
"Can you tell me what can be done?" While asking this question, I showed my teeth to the receptionist at the dentist's office, haha. I had a piece of tooth broken off and I just wanted a solution.
A little surprised and puzzled, she looked at me and said, "You'll have to ask the boss. We can make an appointment after that."
I was a bit disappointed, because somehow I had wished for a quick solution or at least a detailed answer for my problem.
Aren't we often like that in our lives with God, friend? We run to the church service and tell the people there about our worries, about what is bothering us and somehow go home unsatisfied because nothing has changed as a result.
Or we even talk to our therapist, if we have chosen a therapist who is a believer, but nothing changes.
friend, may I say what I think? "Maybe you should talk to the Boss directly."
We are always in danger of running past the God who has made Himself near, because people seem nearer.
But God is already near to you now, friend. He will be tangibly near when you call out to Him. Yes, God wants to meet you personally…why then do you stop at people?
It is good and important to interact with other people, but don't stop, as in my case, with the receptionist when the Boss Himself wants to help. And He is able to help.
"The Lord is NEAR to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18 NIV)
friend, "the Boss" is already waiting for you...Will you enter into His presence? Your prayer is the door opener to God's heart!
You are a miracle!
