Truth and conspiracies...

Publication date Jan 17, 2021

Let’s all face the fact that 2020 threw us some very difficult circumstances. Were the shutdowns fun? Were the riots a blast? Did you expect the layoffs? Was the political turmoil unifying?

Nobody saw this coming. At least not most people. Were these trials fabricated by a political power? Is there a sinister force pulling the strings of world domination? Is the devil up to no good?

Well, the Bible clearly warns us, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12, NKJV)

So, to be completely honest with you, I do believe in a conspiracy, but it’s not about one side or another politically. I believe the dark prince, Satan, has a plan to take over the world and establish a one-world order that he will rule. He uses people and political power brokers as pawns in his game of world domination. He’s the evil one, the father of all lies, and he is hell-bent on his goal. “‘The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’” (John 10:10, NIV) Oh yes, it’s very personal. It’s also global, affecting every nation and culture.

I’ve traveled around the world to almost 50 countries. I’ve seen the power of communism and dictators. I’ve even experienced the effects of corrupt people in free societies. There seems to be a lust for power, sex, and money. The Bible says, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6:10, NIV)

Can you make a difference in a world that seems to be going dark? My answer is yes! Jesus said you are salt and light. “‘You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.’” (Matthew 5:13-14, NIV)

friend, you are salt and light. You can make a positive difference for the people around you. Bless them. Share God's love in your home, school, and business.

1 Corinthians says, “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,” (1 Corinthians 12:7-8, NIV). The Holy Spirit wants to flow through you to help thwart the plans of the enemy because you are a miracle.
