Ah, friend, those are the moments when I have to react really quickly before something important to me is taken away. I would almost say: "Something that is vital for my survival." Because I've decided that on certain routes I regularly drive by car, I always pray. Yes, I turn it into a conscious prayer time.

 

Because otherwise, it just won't happen. You probably know that feeling too. Of course, I pray at other times too. But you know, I just have to say from experience:

 

Those who pray MORE, experience MORE: More hope. More joy. More closeness to God. More of God's voice. More answers. More clarity. More inner peace. And who wouldn't want that?

 

friend, God has given you the opportunity to experience MORE through prayer! It's so easy that it becomes difficult again. Because you also have to believe in it.

 

Imagine if each of your prayers cost you 100 dollars. You would approach your prayer time very differently. You would choose your words much more carefully, make sure you've thought of everything, and probably even believe more that this prayer will be answered than a "free" prayer...

Oh, we humans are fascinating creatures, haha. God must think: "I've done everything so that my children can have free and direct access to Me through My Son Jesus, and yet they let themselves be distracted from using it by all sorts of things"

 

Don't let your prayer time be taken away from you, because God has so much to give you!

 

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24 NIV)
