What do you make of it, friend?
Whenever a new book of mine is released, I offer a shipping promotion, meaning I send books with a personal dedication.
I always pray that God gives me just the right and fitting words for this person, even if I don't know them.
During the last shipping promotion for the “A Miracle Every Day” agenda, I thought: "But my heart has so much more to say, I just can't work it all into one sentence."
And God impressed on my heart that…
It doesn't matter how much you write here.It matters what is made of it!Just like it doesn't matter how much a person hears from Me personally. It matters what they make of it.
Wow. That touched me. And at the same time, I thought: "Ah, that sounds like a lot of work...". And then I thought again: "What do I write in the books?"
Sometimes I write only: "friend, you are loved."
Actually it’s quite simple. Maybe you've never heard that before, or maybe you've heard it many times. May I then ask, what do you make of it, friend? Do you believe it? Or do you let these beautiful words and their impact on your life be taken away because you let your doubts shout louder?
That's what God means by: "It matters what is made of it."
We don't need to hear more from God; we just need to believe His words more.
Do you feel caught, friend? Are you one of the doubters for whom God's speaking is not enough? Do you want to hear more before you believe? Or are you one of those who doubt so much that even more wouldn't change anything?
Then decide today for trust. Yes: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5 NIRV)
You are a miracle!
