Who Plans with God?
"If you plan with God, you can expect miracles!"
This phrase suddenly came to mind as I was signing and mailing the very first german "A Miracle Every Day" books. And then I thought to myself, how great it would be to start every morning by falling into the arms of God!
Yes, to hear directly from Him that He has everything under control, that today is going to be a wonderful day, no matter what is ahead, because after all, He created this day! (see Psalm 118:24 NIV)
And you know what, friend? The day WILL come when God will dwell in our midst! When we will be free of this world’s problems. That's hard for us humans to imagine, isn't it?
But in the blink of an eye — I don't like to give the following example because it's not so positive, but I think it makes it very clear — just like the little Corona virus was suddenly here, the day will come when we will experience God in our midst. Quite suddenly, quite unexpectedly. Revelation states:
"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’” (Revelation 21:3-4 NIV)
But what does that have to do with your today, when this event has not yet happened? As I said at the beginning, "He who plans with God may also count on miracles"
For your today, God says:
"...The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you." (2 Chronicles 15:2 NIV).
THAT means that God wants to be close to you right now. Today. That miracles are already possible today if you start the day with Him!
friend, the verse doesn’t say that day is in the distant future. It says, “This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24 NLT)
friend, plan with God — and count on miracles! Today!
You are a miracle!
