How is OneHope connected to The Chosen?
OneHope is a global partner focused on the translation and international distribution of the show. Through our technical teams and the Come and See Foundation, we are working to translate all seven seasons into 600 languages so that everyone, everywhere, can experience Jesus in their own heart language.
Why is OneHope supporting a TV show?
Our mission is to engage every child and person with God’s Word. We believe The Chosen is a "digital bridge" that sparks curiosity about the Bible. By supporting the show, we help create a pathway for people to move from the screen into the pages of Scripture.
How can I dive deeper after watching an episode?
Watching is just the beginning! We encourage you to use the official Bible Reading Plans on the YouVersion Bible App that correspond with each season. These plans help you explore the actual Sunday-school stories and verses that inspired the scenes you see on screen.
Is The Chosen a replacement for the Bible?
Not at all—and the creators of the show agree! The show is a historical drama that uses artistic license to fill in backstories. We always encourage viewers to "Check the Book." The show is the invitation; the Bible is the ultimate authority.
Can our church host a Watch & Discuss night?
Yes! We love seeing local churches use the show for outreach. You can access free Church Licenses and Discussion Guides through the Come and See Foundation hub. These resources are designed to help pastors and small group leaders facilitate deep, Gospel-centered conversations.
Are there resources for kids and youth?
Absolutely. OneHope specializes in reaching the next generation. We recommend using the Bible App for Kids and our youth-focused devotionals alongside the show to help younger viewers understand the context of Jesus' ministry in a way that resonates with them.
