And those are beautiful desires.
There is a path toward miracles that is not about mastering concepts or techniques, but about a relationship with a Person. Not an idea. Not a method. Find it out in this Course in Miracles.
What is a Miracle?
A miracle can be defined as an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.
Many people experience that there is more than the visible world. That love, consciousness, and the divine can touch us. The divine is not something far away: it is a near God who wants to live in close connection with you.
A miracle is a moment when God visibly shows who He is: love, closeness, and restoration.
It is not a “trick” or energy shift, but an encounter.
An encounter with God.
God sometimes breaks through the normal course of events.
Not to impress,
but to evoke inspiration, love, hope, and trust.
The one and only Course in Miracles
What if a Miracle is Not Something You Master, But Someone You Encounter?
There are many testimonies of people who experienced something shifting in their lives, after an encounter with a specific person. Brokenness turned into restoration. Fear gave way to peace. People discovered hope where there had been none.
They didn’t receive miracles because they understood how miracles worked.
They received them just because they met Him. He said:, “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Miracles often begin not with effort, but with presence. The presence of Jesus to be precise. Jesus didn’t just teach about miracles; He demonstrated them. He became a miracle himself.
What if a Miracle is Not Something You Master, But Someone You Encounter?
The Gentle Invitations of Jesus
Jesus meets people exactly where they are. And the way they are. Not when they have figured everything out. Not when they have achieved a certain level of spiritual awareness.
He offers rest to the exhausted. He gives forgiveness to the wounded and the ashamed. He teaches a way of love that is not earned, but received.
Forgiveness, in His hands, isn’t a mental exercise. It is freedom. The kind that starts deep within the heart.
And His love is unlike any other. It is patient, personal, and unchanging. It doesn't ask you to become better before you are loved. It is love that transforms, and that transformation itself is a miracle.
Where ACIM says the answer is within you, Jesus says, I am with you.
A Course in Miracles and the Bible: What’s the Difference?
A lot of people wonder how the book A Course in Miracles relates to what Jesus says in the Bible. Both speak about love, peace, and forgiveness, and both use Christian words. But the starting point is different.
ACIM suggests that truth and divinity are found within yourself, and that the world around you is ultimately an illusion. In this view, Jesus functions as a guide pointing you inward.
The Bible describes Jesus differently: not as a symbol or a metaphor, but as the living Son of God. Someone who loves you personally. Someone you can talk to, rely on, and walk with.
Where ACIM invites you to discover peace through inner training, Jesus invites you into peace through relationship. “My peace I give you.” (John 14:27)
Where ACIM says the answer is within you, Jesus says, I am with you.
Both acknowledge the longing for peace. One points you inward. Jesus steps toward you.
It’s Okay to Seek
It’s okay to explore. God is not afraid of your questions.
As you search for miracles, you may discover something even deeper: that miracles are not proof of God’s love, they are expressions of it.
And perhaps the greatest miracle is not what happens around you, but what awakens within you when you encounter Jesus. If you long for peace that lasts, ask Jesus to show you who He really is. He loves when we come to Him with open hearts.
