How Muslims meet Jesus in dreams and visions
Almost 25% of Muslims that come to Jesus encounter Him through dreams and visions, reports Joel News.

Often these dreams and visions come to them when they seek God intensively, but don’t have a knowledge of the gospel or contact with Christians. These supernatural occurrences happen all over the Islamic world. Muslims experience these dreams with such intense reality, that they surrender their heart and mind to Jesus in the wake of the dream.
Take Khalil, a radical Egyptian terrorist, changed from a murderous ‘Saul’ to a forgiving ‘Paul’. He set out to discredit the Bible but could not; and although he despised Christians and Jews, his heart was changed forever when the Savior appeared to him in a dream that penetrated his soul.
Khosrow, a teenager in Iran, despaired of life itself. That is, until he experienced a vision of Jesus Christ.
In the vision, Jesus extended his hand toward Khosrow, inviting him to take hold and promising him that his “life would change forever.” Khosrow took Jesus’ hand and, as he describes it, “waves of electricity flowed through my body over and over again. I wept for the first time since I was a child and joy filled my heart.”
As a teenager Dini in Indonesia felt let down by family, friends and society, but yearned to know God. On the night of Lailatur Qodar, when Muslims around the world make individualised prayers to Allah, Dini experienced a vision of Jesus Christ, who appeared before her and told her to follow him. Dini was hesitant, but overcame her fear and committed her life to Jesus that same night. Peace filled her heart, even as persecution began.
Mohammed in northern Nigeria did not have just one dream of Jesus Christ – he had seven!
Son of a prominent Fulani herdsman, Mohammed had studied the Qur’an in depth at several Muslim schools and was preparing to leave for advanced studies in Saudi Arabia when he experienced the series of dreams that convinced him of the deep love and lordship of Jesus Christ. Although his father tried to kill him in the wake of his conversion, Mohammed survived the various attempts on his life and persevered in his Christian walk, eventually leading his father to faith in Christ.
Salah : Raised as a Muslim, left the faith before encountering Christ
Phase 1: Suffering and Seeking Truth
Salah’s journey began after a severe car accident that left him wheelchair-bound following 3.5 years of hospital treatment. Amidst pain and despair, he questioned the purpose of life, eventually contemplating ending his own life.
One cold and rainy night, Salah prayed fervently, asking God to reveal the true faith, seeking peace and purpose.
Phase 2: A Vision of Christ
Following this prayer, Salah had a dream in which he saw Jesus Christ crucified. The nails in Jesus’ hands and feet were covered with black coverings. Feeling compelled to investigate closely, he removed the coverings, revealing blood as if uncovering hidden truth.
In the dream, Salah exclaimed, "He truly died for us!" He woke up the next morning feeling unburdened, as if a heavy weight had been lifted, and suicidal thoughts disappeared completely.
Phase 3: First Steps in Faith
A friend advised Salah to visit a church in the Algerian capital. It was a Seventh-day Adventist church, where he was warmly welcomed without doctrinal discussions, making him feel comfortable.
However, an inner voice urged him to seek further. Salah began reading the Bible, particularly the Epistle to the Galatians, which opened his heart and revealed many spiritual truths.
After 12 days, Salah decided to leave the Adventist church, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Phase 4: Spiritual Growth and Witnessing
Six months after accepting Christ, Salah was baptized. Despite his physical disability, he became an active evangelist, sharing the Gospel in his village and surrounding areas using his wheelchair.
He devotes daily time to studying the Bible and listening to sermons by Pastor Michael Youssef, which continue to strengthen his faith.
Azzam Azzam : From the Depths of Darkness and Desolation to the Light of Christ
Azzam's story began with us at the end of January when he contacted us.
He had contacted us previously in January 2023, but his contact was cut off for a while.
Azzam is a normal man from southern Yemen. He lives in the capital, Aden.
He is forty years old, He has a university degree,
He works in the private sector,
He is working and caring about his family, and raises his four children in Aden. He is a strict Sunni Muslim. He committed to religious traditions, before his profound journey toward truth began.
Azzam says at the beginning of his interview: “I was a strict Sunni Muslim, and then I converted to Sufism, but I couldn't find comfort "He moved between different ways and movements, until he met some members of the extremist part " the Yemeni branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. He spent time with them, hoping to find the light, balance, and spiritual fulfillment he needed. But he felt that his heart was still far from God, and that what he was seeking was much deeper than a superficial commitment or the repetition of rituals.
So he isolated himself from the world, searching for true answers. He began browsing the internet, reading books, and following channels and groups that discussed religions and philosophies.
He wrote, "I was convinced that this universe could not have been created by chance, and I began to follow all religions and everything related to the prophets”.
During his research, he began to have strange visions and dreams, full of symbols.
One night, he saw himself in a dream inside a mosque, and saw "four people carrying swords, with frightening features, like demons."
Then he heard a voice saying, "These are Muhammad and his companions." Azzam was frightened and ran away from them. He says, "I ran away from them, and one of them was following me... I reached a dark place and kept walking." While he was in the dream, he saw a man standing between heaven and earth, his face radiating light, his clothes white, and has a stick in his hand which a light resembling a cross shone.
"He stood looking at me, then pointed to one of the people sitting there and said, 'The Master wants you.'" Azzam approached and asked, "Who is the Master?" The answer came: "The Lord Jesus." He woke up from his sleep, and his heart filled with amazing joy,
He wrote: This is what made me search for the truth about Islam. How do I see Muhammad in my dreams in the form of a devil, with a sword in his hand? "While I saw Jesus Christ in a beautiful image, teaching, guiding, and giving peace?”
Azzam began to go deeper into reading the Bible and found in it what he had never found before. He wrote, “I read the Bible, I read the teachings of Christ, and I followed Christian groups, and everything I read made me certain that it was the truth.”
He saw himself in a dream again, walking in a narrow cave until he reached a green place with a beautiful church.
He entered it, and there he found a man who sat beside him and said, “Jesus Christ wants you.” After these dreams, visions, and readings, Azzam realized that God was guiding him on a different path. He wrote, “I thank God that I have seen the light of faith... "I have known the false truth of Islam, and the reality of the prophet of Satan, money, and power,” referring to the Prophet of Islam (Muhammad).
Currently , he proudly wrote, “I believe in Jesus Christ, and I accept Him as Lord and Savior of my life, and my heart is filled with peace.” And so, from the depths of darkness, Azzam emerged into Light, and became one of those who seek the truth and find it in the person of Christ. Finally, I asked him to share his thoughts and what the next steps were! We are waiting for his response before offering him our tips to help to walk steadfastly in the path of the Lord.
The strange thing is that, despite his many years of faith since 2022, he has not joined a discipleship group yet. So he needed to join a group to learn the principles of the Christian faith. This is due to the difficult situation in Yemen, as well as the lack of spiritual guides and a Christian community to help him.

Are the gospels reliable?
The question of the gospels reliability as historical text is not often disputed. The true question is if accepted as the word of God and true.
