The denial of Peter

People hoped Jesus was coming to free them from the enemies. But Jesus was arrested by the Roman rulers. Peter became afraid but watched when they interrogated Jesus and were beating him and said even cursing that he didn’t know him. When they met after the resurrection, they had to have an honest conversation.
