Thomas meets Jesus after the resurrection

The apostle Thomas is often seen as a doubter. He was not there when his friends, the other disciples, told him that they had seen Jesus, while Jesus died and buried a few days earlier. It is understandable that Thomas does not simply believe the first story. He wants to see it for himself and feel it. The risen Lord meets Thomas in this, and He comes again. And no one came closer to the risen Lord than Thomas, who was invited by Jesus to even put his fingers in the wounds.
