The One Who Brings You Peace

Publication date Dec 21, 2023

What a mess! You were looking forward to a relaxed Christmas this year, but nothing seems to be going as you wished. Instead of peace, restlessness wants to take over.

friend, believe me, the first Christmas didn't look any different! Just think about young Mary, torn from her usual life! She was in absolute disgrace, having become pregnant while unmarried! And then, heavily pregnant, she had to undertake a long journey—on a donkey—and didn't even get a hotel room at her destination! I know myself...I would have been quite cranky.

But not Mary! Why? Because she carried peace within her! And nothing in this world, not even her circumstances, could prevent what God had planned for her: "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’" (Isaiah 46:10 NIV

The line from the song "Be Born in Me" by Francesca Battistelli always touches me: "Before my head agrees, my heart is on its knees."

Maybe you don't understand the circumstances you're in right now, friend, but God also has a plan for your life that He will fulfill! Jesus wants to give you peace even while you wait! So, I want to ask you today, here and now: "May He be born in you?" Not just be a part of your life or activities, but be your life?

If your heart is on its knees, peace will enter your life!

Open the door of your heart to Him through a prayer: "Jesus, thank you for coming into this world to bring me peace! Even though I don't understand everything, today I want to say, 'My heart is on its knees,' and it asks You to come in! To be born IN ME. I love You! Amen!"

friend, I wish you a peace like you've never experienced before!

Merry Christmas season

You are a miracle!
