“And that's exactly what it's about!”

Is there something weighing so heavily on your heart right now that it's taken away all your ease and joy, friend? I want to remind you today of something that can bring that ease back to you.

Do you know how it feels when I'm preparing new texts for you? ✍️ So often I think, “I'm writing something completely new! I'm writing about something no one has ever talked about before.”

Haha, God brings me back down to earth every time and says, “The ‘new’ would come from you, Déborah. My message doesn't change.” Gotcha! And then He asks me, “Have you understood everything you've read in the Bible?” Gotcha again...

It makes sense that Paul often said things like, “I never get tired of telling you these things...” (Philippians 3:1 NLT) Because it's important that we don't just READ Bible verses, but truly UNDERSTAND them and LIVE by them!

Take this verse for example: “Make every effort to add to your faith goodness…” (2 Peter 1:5 NIV).  Do you trust God completely yet, friend? Are you allowing him to transform your life, increasing in faith and goodness? If I’m being honest, I still can’t do that with everything, all the time. So, I could probably read this verse for an entire month... and still have enough to work on with just that one sentence. It's true, isn’t it, friend?

So, I want to send you off with another very short verse today. Keep it in your heart, apply it when you face challenges today, and believe it. Yes, READ the verse 📖, try to UNDERSTAND it, and then LIVE by it:

“Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” (Romans 10:11 NLT)  

Yes, when we trust in Him every day, we will be amazed throughout life in every way! 🤩
