“Did you wake up full this morning?”

Did you wake up “full of faith” this morning, friend?
Are you ready for any storm that might come your way today? Well, first, I want to remind you of a Bible verse:
“Do not fear, for I am with you.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)
“Huh, I know that verse,” you might be thinking right now. Yes, you know it—but did you think about this truth when you woke up this morning with all your worries? Probably not, right?
So, you didn’t really wake up “full of faith” after all. Instead, you woke up “full of doubt”: “Will this work out? Will I make it?” 🤔💭
Recently, a friend of mine—who, in my eyes, is “full of faith”—said: “Déborah, I just moved and then got sick right away, my quiet time is really lacking, and I feel like I can't share anything about Jesus because I’m empty myself. I need to really dive into the Bible again.”
And friend, I completely understand and agree with that. Not just me—the Bible backs this up with Romans 10:17:
“Faith comes from hearing the message…” (Romans 10:17 NIV) 🔊
If we don’t consciously fill ourselves with God’s Word, our hearts will simply remain empty. Worse yet, doubt, fear, and worry will gladly fill that “empty” space. Just look at this:
“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth.” (Psalm 33:6 NIV)
W-O-W.
And this Word we have—in the form of the Bible—is right in front of us. We just need to consciously and regularly engage with these life-changing words.
God’s Word has so much power that it created the entire world. 🌎 Don’t you think He can help you with your relatively small life, friend?
Don’t forget, He promises: “Do not fear, for I am with you.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)
And: When you choose to BELIEVE in HIM, your TRUST can also BEGIN.
You are a miracle!
