Are you using your own brain šš§

Iām so glad God gave you your own brain!
Letās think this through togetherāitās going to be fun and eye-opening. Just imagine if every church had to share one single brain. Why not, right? We all believe the same thing. That wouldāve saved God time and effort. People would question less, argue less, and everyone would agree.
But thatās exactly what God didnāt want. Because humans make mistakes. Even church leaders make mistakes. DĆ©borah makes mistakes, too.
But making mistakes isnāt the problem if your heart truly wants to pass on whatās good and true. š”
You know, Jesus saw right through people who used their words and sermons to manipulate! He exposed that clearly while He was here on earth, especially so we could learn from it today. He said to the teachers of the law:
āWhat sorrow awaits you experts in religious law! For you remove the key to knowledge from the people.ā (Luke 11:52 NLT) š®
Isnāt that wild? Youāre sitting with other Christians, having a nice evening, chatting about Godās Word, and you just take it all in: āWell, theyāre Christians, they must be right.ā Thatās how it was back thenāthe religious leaders taught the law, but were hypocrites in their daily lives. And it could still be like that todayā¦
Thatās why I just want to encourage you today to use your own brain and take a moment to ask: āIs that r-e-a-l-l-y true?ā
Because you know what? There are so many things that get said, even with good intentions, that could actually keep you from getting to know God better. Especially when rules suddenly seem more important than your relationship with God...
Yes, God did give us clear rulesābut Heāll share those with you lovingly WITHIN YOUR RELATIONSHIP with Him. And Heāll help you understand them, too, as you spend time with Him and switch on your own brain.
Because Jesus said, āI am the way, the truth, and the life!ā (John 14:6 NLT)
So, give yourself the freedom to think it through. Ask questions. Read it for yourself. Talk to God about it. Because God didnāt just give you a brainā He also gave you a heart that can recognize His voice.
You are a miracle!
