Do you find it hard to open the Bible?

When you open the Bible, one thing must be clear to you:
EVERY WORD YOU READ HERE HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
When you understand that, you’ll never just casually open the Bible again. No. Because this book is UNIQUE. Yes, in all our abundance, we’ve forgotten how truly valuable what we have is.
How many Bibles do you own? I personally have at least 10 in different languages. However, it’s not enough to just “have” the Word of God if we don’t carry it in our hearts.
And when do you carry something in your heart? Exactly, when you’ve recognized its value, when you love it! And that’s probably where your problem lies. You’re not alone if you think: “It’s just hard for me to open the Bible… I’d rather do other things instead.”
And here I want to repeat myself: When you open the Bible, one thing must be clear to you:
EVERY WORD YOU READ HERE HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
In the Psalms, it says: “Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it.” (Psalm 119:140 NKJV)
The author emphasizes that he learned to love God’s Word because… exactly, because he understood the value of God’s Word! “Your word is pure!” The word “refined” is used in other translations here, which means:
It is flawless and truthful.
What human word is still flawless and perfectly true? None. And THAT is the value of the Bible: that you can TAKE EVERY WORD YOU READ HERE PERSONALLY AND BELIEVE IT, BECAUSE EVERY WORD IS TRUE!
When you realize this, reading the Bible will no longer be a secondary matter—but a matter of the heart. ❤️
So you can pray before reading the Bible: “Father, I will take every word I read personally and believe it!”
And you’ll be amazed at how quickly it happens that you begin to love His Word more and more.
You are a miracle!
