God protects you in the MIDST of danger!

Oh, we humans! We’re either at a point where we trust God completely, spend time in His Word, and actually believe it, or we’re at a point where we’re trying to do everything on our own, right? Am I wrong, friend?
Recently, I was in one of those “too much going on” seasons. And still, before doing anything else, I chose to spend time with God. And what can I say, friend?
God is faithful. When we do what we can, He does what only He can. 🙌
And in that short time when I was reading the Bible, He spoke to me through just ONE verse: “The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand.” (Psalm 121:5)
Now, there was a little footnote after this verse—an easy one to ignore. But I looked at the note and it said, “Literal meaning—The Lord is your shadow at your right hand.”
And that’s when it hit me! 💡
I had written before about the “right hand.” In the Bible, it often symbolizes strength, work, action, and even battle.
And “shadow”?
A shadow represents protection, refreshment, and nearness. Whoever stands in God’s shadow is safe. Yes, the heat might still be there, but you are under His protection. Do you see it, friend?
It means: God protects you WHILE you act. WHILE you work. WHILE you fight. WHILE you pour your strength into something. It might get hot and intense, but God is your shelter right in the middle of it all.
It means: Even where you’re at your strongest—God is even closer, even stronger. 💪 He is like a shadow—right beside you, always with you, especially when you’re in action.
So don’t rely on yourself. Rely on the One who never leaves you.
…And let Him speak to you—even if you only have a few minutes. 😉
You are a miracle!
