Haven’t you already told God this a thousand times? 🫢

“You don’t need to keep bothering God with the same thing.”
I’ve heard that in sermons more times than I can count—and honestly, every time, it stings a little. Sure, God already knows what’s going on before we even say it. But we humans are wired to talk about things.
Because, well… God made us that way.
Even I, friend—and this might surprise you—I’m not naturally a very talkative person. I avoid phone calls whenever I can. 😁 I’d be the first to say I don’t need to talk about my emotions. Until I hit a wall… and then I’m yelling, “Help! Help!”
So if even I need to talk it out sometimes, God clearly put that need in all of us—even in those of us who think we don’t need it.
And here’s the thing: if God put that in me, then I want to talk to Him first.
Do you know why it always stings when I hear: “You don’t need to keep bringing this up to God…”?
🧡 Because to God, it’s not just about solving your problem—it’s about building a relationship.
You probably know this verse from Matthew 7:7: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7 NIV)
But in the original language, it actually means: ➡️ Keep on asking. Keep on knocking. Don’t stop seeking. 😲😲
God invites you to come back to Him again and again. 🥰 Because your relationship with Him grows right there: in the coming back. In the talking. In the trusting.
friend: “Seek the Lord and rely on His strength; keep turning to Him.” (Psalm 105:4, paraphrased). Yes—keep turning to Him. 🙏🏻
Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise, because that would rob you of one of the greatest gifts: a real relationship with God. 👑
You are a miracle!
