How are you feeling?

Publication date Aug 14, 2025

This morning I woke up and the first thing I asked myself was: “How are you feeling?”

We probably all do that, without even realizing it. It seems like such an innocent question, but it can completely shape the course of our day.

“Do I feel rested? Strong? Overwhelmed? Is something difficult coming up today?” Even when we’re on vacation, we ask, “Is the weather going to be good today?” ☀️⛈️

And if it’s not, that can affect how the whole day feels. It’s kind of wild when you think about it—the day has barely started, not even ten minutes in, and already we’ve let our emotions take the lead.

It’s like starting the day with an internal weather report. If things feel bright inside, great. If there’s pressure—well, it’s going to be a hard day. But what if it could be different? 🤗

It can be different, and deep down, we know that. But between knowing and actually living that out, there’s often something standing in the way.

You might be thinking, “Well, what exactly do I know?” You know this: With God, EVERYTHING is possible. That’s definitely one of the bold, underlined truths in your Bible:

“...With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26, NLT)

That means God can take this day, no matter how restless you feel, no matter what’s going on: “I didn’t sleep last night,” “I feel uncomfortable in my body, weak,” or, “I’ve got some really hard things ahead today…” No matter what it is, you can still make it VICTORIOUS and WONDERFUL, simply because nothing is impossible for Him!

That’s why the verse says so clearly: “...With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26, NLT)

So don’t let your feelings lead your day and set the tone—let your faith lead because you’re not alone!

No matter how you’re feeling today—God is greater. And what He can do doesn’t depend on how strong you feel, but on how strong your faith in Him is.

Amen!

You are a miracle!
