What’s your mission today?

I remember a day when I woke up super early that morning—extra early—because I knew I still had 160 texts to prepare for our Bible TV recordings.

Yep, friend, it’s always a ton of work before our “Miracles” are ready to air daily on TV. But it’s work that’s absolutely worth it! 😃

I wanted to dive in, focused and ready, when I saw a comment under the video that had just gone live that day.

Someone was criticizing my clothes, the beautiful house we get to film in, the way I speak—just, everything...

friend, in moments like that, I could go off, respond, explain myself—because honestly, it makes me sad when we as Christians point fingers at each other instead of blessing one another.

But that morning, God said something completely different to me: “Ignore it—otherwise, you’ll waste precious time.”

“What? You don’t want me to respond, Lord?” I asked, surprised. “But, but…!”

And God gently reminded me of all the work I had waiting—my actual mission.

If I got caught up in that conversation, I’d lose time, energy, and focus. And honestly, that’s exactly what the enemy would want—to keep me from finishing what God had called me to do.

I wouldn’t get those texts done in time, and I’d end up showing up to the shoot exhausted, frustrated, and distracted.

Do you see the danger, friend?

Sometimes ignoring is wiser than responding.

And here’s the thing: even Jesus did that. He stayed silent before Pilate: “Don’t you hear all these charges they are bringing against you?” Pilate demanded. But Jesus made no response to any of the charges…” (Matthew 27:13-14 NLT) 🤫

He did the same with Herod: “He asked Jesus question after question, but Jesus refused to answer.” (Luke 23:9 NLT) 🤫

You have a mission too.

Sometimes ignoring is the wiser choice—because reacting could cost you the very mission God has placed in your hands.

And for both you and me: Let’s bless others instead of pointing fingers. Because God can take care of what we “don’t like” in others—with love. 😉

You are a miracle! 💛
