God sees YOU! ❤️🩹
Do you ever feel like God isn’t noticing you because He’s busy with other things?
I think we all feel that way sometimes—often without even realizing it.
That’s why I love the familiar story from Mark 5, where the woman with the bleeding issue sneaks up from behind to touch Jesus briefly. She probably thought, “Jesus has more important things to do.” (See Mark 5:25-34 for the story.)
After all, He was officially on His way to the synagogue leader’s daughter who was dying. “Who am I compared to the daughter of such an important person?” she might have thought.
It’s a stark comparison, but even the people of Israel sometimes felt forgotten by God. They cried out: “The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me.” (Isaiah 49:14 NIV)
But do you know how God responded in the very next verse? 🤔
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” (Isaiah 49:15 NIV)
With that faith in her heart, the woman with the bleeding dared to approach Jesus. She knew deep down the power that came from Him and that Jesus had come to save ALL people.
Because God doesn’t decide based on feelings — His decision to love EVERYONE was already made. ❤️
Jesus stopped—right in the middle of the crowd, right in the urgency of another miracle—and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:30 NIV)
If it didn’t matter to Him, He would have just kept walking. But He didn’t. He SAW this woman. He took the time. He even called her, “Daughter…” (Mark 5:34)
At that moment, He made it clear: “I see you. I know you. I have not forgotten you.”
That’s who God is. Even when you feel lost in the crowd, He sees you. Even when it seems like other things are more important, He stops for you.
He has not forgotten you. And He never will.
Amen.
You are a miracle!
