Don’t be disappointed!
Don’t be disappointed that the celebrations with your loved ones might not feel very festive. 🌟
Don’t be disappointed because you are hoping for more—more Christmas, more Jesus.
Don’t be disappointed if the friends you are inviting to the Christmas Eve service don’t show up…. Or if the gifts you carefully picked won't be received as you had hoped.
Simply don’t be disappointed because things may turn out differently than you imagined…
Because Christmas is a beginning—not just a date on the calendar that ends tomorrow.
Christmas is about a birth, and a birth is only the start! 😍
No, a birth is often not “pretty” to watch. It comes with pain, effort, pressure, and waiting.
Maybe this Christmas season has felt the same way. It can hurt to see that all your effort, work, and investment are unnoticed. Maybe you stepped out of your comfort zone to invite neighbors to church, but they said “no.” It’s not that far away now and, somehow, you’re waiting for that Christmas feeling, for Jesus, your Savior, to arrive.
Now let me ask you: “Do you think Jesus could have been disappointed with His first Christmas?” He came into this world—where did He land? Not in a palace, but in a stable… born not to a famous couple, but to ordinary circumstances and inexperienced parents, Mary and Joseph.
Yet Jesus knew: It may begin with disappointment… but through it, people will find peace!
Let me encourage you—and hopefully bring a smile to your face—by reminding you of Galatians 6:9-10:
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people…” (Galatians 6:9-10 NIV).
Exactly what disappoints you today could STILL be the beginning of a great miracle! Place it in His hands—and rejoice!
Rejoice, world! Rejoice!
You are a miracle!
