Let’s pray together today!

What decision have you made today?

If you just got out of bed, you’re probably thinking: “Well, for now, I’ve only decided on my coffee. And nothing else yet.”

But maybe you don’t realize that we unconsciously make decisions even when we aren’t actively deciding.

Yes, every morning you have the chance to make a choice: “Do I involve God in my day—through prayer and time in His Word—or do I try to handle it on my own first?”

Where does that lead? I think we’ve all experienced it far too often, on way too many days. And yet somehow, it’s still hard for us to make this decision (that’s actually soooo simple)!

That’s why I want to make it today with you and pray together. You’re welcome to silently repeat this prayer in your own words right now:

"Father, I choose You.I choose not to start this day without You,because I know exactly how much I need You!I don’t want to try to handle it on my own,when nothing is impossible for Youand You are here for me too!Thank You that Your Word saysYou are with me and will watch over me wherever I go.Yes, that You will never leave me! (see Genesis 28:15)I thank You for that.And under this protection, I place myself today, fully and intentionally.Amen."
