This is not a fight against you!
“Ms. Rosenkranz, serious accusations are being made against you. Please respond to them…”
This email hit me completely out of the blue. The accusations in it—baseless, distorted, shocking—pulled the ground right out from under my feet at first.
Not because things like this scare me; I can handle journalists well. What truly hurt was the human disappointment behind it. That made me unbelievably sad.
And you probably know that feeling too…
You know, the thing that still confuses me the most is when Christians speak badly about other Christians.
Of course, I don’t agree with every fellow believer either. But does that mean I have to speak negatively about them?
God forbid.
What would I gain? And how would that look to people who don’t believe in God?
I can imagine that you’ve also experienced disappointment, and even attacks, from others. So let me remind you of something today:
Your CAUSE has become Jesus’ CAUSE.
He made that clear to me at that moment too. Yes, people may try—as in this case—to destroy the work I’m allowed to do for God through “bad press.” But what they overlook is that it is not my work—it is His work.
And the same is true for you.
Leading your family, your company, even your backstage group that you’ve placed under His protection—that’s not your work either. It is His work. 🔥❤️
And whoever attacks what you have placed before Him is really picking a fight with the One no one can fight against.
When Jesus appeared to Saul—who had been intensely persecuting Christians—He said:
“Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” (Acts 9:4, NIV, emphasis mine)
But Saul hadn’t been persecuting Jesus personally—he had been persecuting Christians.
That’s why Saul asked, confused: “Who are you?” (Acts 9:5, NIV)
Saul didn’t understand who Christ truly was, even while he was attacking His people.
And the person who may be attacking you right now doesn’t realize that they are actually challenging the Most High. You probably know how that turns out. 👑
So today, pray this powerful prayer from the Bible:
“LORD, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. LORD, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.” (2 Chronicles 14:10, NIV)
Amen?
Amen!
You are a miracle! ❤️
