You Need THIS Strength... 🚴
Whenever I think about riding a bike, I think about a school trip where our entire class rode around Lake Constance. 🚴♀️
But after what I believe was the second day, I had my parents come pick me up. My bike was packed into the trunk, and I headed back home...
Now, I should mention that at that time I was still struggling with an eating disorder and didn't have the strength needed for a trip like that. But that's exactly the point.
Because this summer, you see people riding bikes everywhere too. Families use their vacation time for outings. Travelers explore new places. Summer invites us to get moving—to step out of our normal routines. ☀️
But a bicycle only stays balanced when it keeps moving. As soon as it stops, it becomes much harder to maintain balance. And that requires strength.
You can't simply stop eating while on vacation and say, "I don't need as much energy right now," and expect to have the same strength.
That's exactly why it's important to pay attention to your spiritual life during this season as well.
Because especially during vacation time, we often feel like we don't have time for quiet time with God.
The same principle applies: You can't simply stop spending time in prayer and say, "I don't really need that right now," and expect to experience the same closeness with God.
Maybe right now it's not about drawing strength from your quiet time for your everyday responsibilities.
Maybe it's about starting your day with God so you can guide your children with wisdom. Because when will you have as much time together as you do right now?
Maybe, like me, you're walking through life on your own right now, and this is about starting your quiet time because some encounters are unexpected—and imagine having answers ready when people come to you with questions!
Whatever you do today, you need the STRENGTH of your faith to do it! 💪🏻
And that strength is something your loving Father wants to give you.
Reach out and receive it!
You are a miracle!
