Starting Today... Think Differently? đź’

Publication date Aug 29, 2026

Why was it so, so important to Paul to share these words?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord: You must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.” (Ephesians 4:17

Paul didn't write these words casually. He wrote them with urgency. With emphasis: “I urge you!” ⚠️

Not to put people under pressure. No. These words carry the heart of a shepherd.

Why?

Because he had realized something: A person can be alive on the outside, functioning, achieving, appearing successful—and still be running toward emptiness on the inside.

Lately I've found myself saying, “Now that I'm older, I see all of this so much more clearly,” because it's really true…

The people I worked with in my twenties—managers, CEOs, people in positions of authority who always came up with another strategy, always had a solution, who always pushed through—many of them are in a very, very different place today. If I'm honest: they're empty.

They always pushed themselves through, but when you force your own way through life, you end up with wounds.

Paul had already recognized all of this:âž– Not every way of thinking leads to life.âž– Not every strategy brings peace.âž– Not every kind of success truly lasts.

There is a way of thinking that seems wise, but in the end is empty… There is a way of thinking that seeks short-term gain, but loses the person in the long run. 🥺

I know it's so hard to believe that when everyone around you seems so smart! That's why Paul speaks so clearly.

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord: You must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.” (Ephesians 4:17)

Have you ever asked yourself:

How do I think? What am I building my life on?Will anything remain when the outward shine fades?

God is inviting you today to think differently. Because whoever thinks differently will live differently.

🤲🏻 Let's pray:

“Father, examine my thoughts. Show me where I'm following empty paths. Renew my mind and align my heart with You. Lead me into a life that truly lasts. Amen.”

You are a miracle!
