Would You Like to Experience True Happiness in Life?

Publication date Sep 15, 2026

Did you know there's a way of living that leads to true happiness? Sounds surprising, doesn't it? But, according to Proverbs 16:20, it’s actually quite simple:

“Those who trust the Lord will be joyful.” (Proverbs 16:20

Well, it sounds simple. But when it comes to living it out, we often discover it's not quite as easy as it seems.

You've probably had the experience of driving with your GPS when it says, "In 600 feet, turn right." Sometimes you're lost in thought or convinced you know a better route. You miss the turn. Your GPS recalculates, but it often takes more time and leads you on a detour before you reach your destination.

In much the same way, Proverbs 16 gives us this clear reminder: those who trust the Lord will be joyful.

Trusting God means…trusting Him more than you trust your own understanding.

Can you really do that? Can you live that way every day?

Trust means believing that God exists and that He is truly leading you, even when He isn't speaking clearly or when you don't fully understand the path ahead.

Thankfully, God is the most faithful "GPS" we could ever have. Even when we try to do things our own way and end up in a dead end, He lovingly redirects us back to the right path.

Of course, I'm only speaking from my own experience — I'm sure you do much better than I do. 🤭

You see, the true happiness the Bible talks about doesn't come from everything going according to plan. And it doesn't come from making sure everything happens exactly the way we planned it.

True happiness is found when we learn to trust God's voice and follow His path.

So, stop trying to control everything yourself, and you'll discover the joy that comes from trusting God.

“Those who trust the Lord will be joyful.” (Proverbs 16:20

What do you need to let go of today? Where do you need to let God lead you?

It's worth it, because God is FOR YOU today!

You are a miracle!
