Living as One Who Has Been Made Whole

Publication date Oct 7, 2026

I am a living example of how God loves to put broken pieces back together for His glory. I am still very much in process. Let’s just say that my character refinement is still very much underway! Every day, I can prove my humanness in an instant of selfishness, greed, or envy…

But today, I am reflecting on what it means to live as someone who has been healed by Jesus. Healing is not just about what God removes—it is also about what He restores.

I no longer have to carry the identity of brokenness as my final definition. In Christ, my brokenness is redeemed. My story is not erased. It is transformed.

The woman in Luke 7 left differently than she came. She arrived burdened, ashamed, and labeled. She left forgiven, restored, and at peace.

Jesus’ words to her are also a bold declaration over my life when I come to Him in faith. Scripture says:

“‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’” (1 Peter 2:24, NIV)

This verse anchors my identity. My healing is rooted in what Jesus has done, not in what I can achieve.

Today, I choose to live as someone who has been made whole—walking in grace, grounded in forgiveness, and confident in God’s ongoing work in my life.

I pray that you will decide to make the same choice!

Jesus, thank You for taking my brokenness upon Yourself so that I could be made whole. Help me to live in the reality of Your healing every day. Remind me of who I am in You, and guide me to walk in Your peace and purpose. Amen.

Never forget, my friend—

You are a miracle!
