The power of partnership

Welcome back!

Seven years ago, the church that I attended had an opportunity to support a small house church planting movement in Southeast Asia. God opened a door for partnership, and when we said “YES!” God began to move.  

The power of a simple “YES!” released a blessing and a revival! This movement just welcomed its 100,000th new believer in Jesus! This is what God does when we partner with HIM to share the message of Jesus around the world.

Proverbs 3:27 is a powerful call to action: “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act". (Proverbs 3:27, NIV) 

friend, I know that not all of us can give financially, but we CAN all pray! I know that all of us can’t travel to the other side of the world to talk about Jesus, but we can support those who are doing this incredible work.

Years ago, I was working at a summer camp for kids in Northern Manitoba. My job was to work hands-on with the students and teach archery at the same time. I was part of a team that was all committed to this work—to share Jesus with teenagers.

I remember encountering our maintenance supervisor, John Rempel, in the middle of a horrible project. Our septic system had a backup, and John was down in the septic tank, unplugging a blockage… ugh! I will never forget calling down to John in that tank and asking, “John, what are you doing?” His answer? “I am doing my part in bringing kids to Jesus!” Wow!

My friend, together, we can all do something to share the message through A Miracle Every Day. Some of us can give. Some of us can pray. Some of us can share the link with our friends and family. Some of us can do ALL of the above!

My prayer is that none of us will withhold the good we know that we can do. My prayer is that we will partner together, for the sake of Jesus, and take His message of love and hope around the world.

A few months ago, I got a letter from a student who accepted Jesus back at the summer camp. He is now a youth pastor who is “paying it forward” to the young people Jesus has placed in His care. My friend, let’s take the blessing that A Miracle Every Day has been in our lives and share it with another group of people who need the hope and salvation of Jesus!
