…the Way, the Truth, and the Life
friend, I pray that these words resonate in your heart right now. I pray that you will pause and let this truth, that was spoken just for you, sink into your heart.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, NIV)
friend, Jesus is your way. If you don’t know which way to go, listen for the sound of your Good Shepherd’s voice and go that way! Jesus will light your path forward and His way is the best and only way to go!
friend, Jesus is your truth. Jesus says, He is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth because He is GOD! The truth of Jesus can set you free from anything that holds you captive because he who the Son sets free, is free indeed! (see John 8:36, NIV)
friend, Jesus is your life.

On the podcast in March, we got a question from a lady named Audrey. She asked, “My baby recently passed away and my family prayed so much for her, yet she was still taken away from us. I don’t understand what God’s plan is in this. Can you help me understand why this has happened?”
We sat there for a long time, trying to contain our emotions. What a heartbreak! Laurel did a masterful job connecting to Audrey’s broken heart. She acknowledged her pain and said, “I don’t know of a greater pain than a parent having to let go of their child.” She said, “In a moment like that, we have to trust in a God that sees so far beyond our ability to understand” and to run to Him because He promises to give rest to the weary, and power to the weak and to be near to the broken-hearted...and that HE shepherds us like a lamb—He carries us.” In addition, I shared, “Audrey, this won’t make the pain go away but it helps to know that God the Father knows exactly how it feels to LOSE a child.” I also said, “Audrey, God didn’t take your child, He received her. God didn’t take your baby, but offered His eternal life-giving hands to receive that little one as the GOD OF LIFE...Jesus is that GOD...the GOD OF LIFE!
My friend, this is my hope for you today. If Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, then stop trying to find other ways, other truths and other lives! This is what I know to be true, Jesus IS the way, the truth and the life, and when...
· I’m wandering about, and I don’t know where I’m going: Jesus is the way.
· I’m confused, and I don’t know what to think: Jesus is the truth.
· I’m dead inside and don’t know if I can go on: Jesus is the life.
Pastor Chuck Swindoll once said, “Look again at His (JESUS) words. He, alone, is the way to God. He, alone, personifies the truth. He, alone, is the source of eternal life with the Father. Without the way there is no going. Without the truth there is no knowing. Without the life there is no living.”
friend, your life is a miracle. Live today in such a way that people can see the truth of Jesus’ words in you! Today, choose the Jesus way, embrace the Jesus truth and live the Jesus life. It’s the way, the truth and the life of miracles!
