This is really tough

Publication date Oct 23, 2025

Today I’m going to share something with you that you might not want to hear when you’re going through a hard valley. Yes, it’s really tough—but it’s so true.

You know, we often think that strong faith has to feel good. That it has to look good. That strong faith means living a strong life.

But true faith often shows itself precisely when you feel nothing. When your life doesn’t look good. When the circumstances are against you. When your prayers seem unanswered. In short:

When you don’t feel God, and yet you hold on to Him anyway.

“For we live by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV)

Faith is: Not living according to what we see or feel, but according to what God has promised.

Maybe today you feel like you’re hanging by a thread. Maybe your faith is more of a whisper than a bold declaration. But you know what?

🔊 God doesn’t care about how loud your faith is, but about the direction of your heart. ❤️

Jeremiah experienced this too. He was broken, abandoned, exhausted—and yet he spoke these powerful words right in the middle of his suffering:

“Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:21-23 NIV)

That’s faith. Not the kind that shouts, “I’ve got everything under control! Look how successful I am!” But the kind that quietly says, “I’m holding on to You anyway, Lord.”

Faith isn’t always a victorious shout. Sometimes it’s a quiet, steady continuing forward. But every step toward God—even a shaky one—brings you closer to the goal.

Keep going—and you will see what God can do!

You are a miracle!
