1,440 minutes… Your day counts!

What are the priorities in your life?
I imagine you may need to think about that for a moment. 💭 And then maybe you’d say something like: “God. My family. My role in church. Time for myself.”
That sounds good. Really good! But are you actually living that way? Is it working? Or are you trying to fit so much more into your day—into those 1,440 minutes—and realizing that you’re running out of time for your true priorities?
The result? Stress and dissatisfaction.
If you don’t know your priorities—and don’t stick to them—you’ll quickly find that your joy in life begins to crumble.
To live more intentionally and joyfully, you need clearly defined priorities.
“For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?” (Luke 14:28 ESV)
Time is a gift from God. 🕖 🎁
1,440 minutes in a day. 10,080 in a week. Wow, that’s a lot! And yet it often feels like not enough to “get everything done.” That’s why it’s so valuable to sit down and ask: “What can I realistically handle? Have I allowed things into my life that are stealing the time I need for the priorities that actually bring me joy?”
Yes, it takes planning—the kind of planning that will bless your priorities and ultimately bless you! Because knowing what’s right for you will give you the joy that matters.
Maybe this idea feels overwhelming to you. You know what? It doesn’t have to be.Because in the end, it’s not about what you do… God wants to work through you! He wants to help you live a life that’s good for you and brings goodness to others.
The Bible gives us a beautiful prayer for this. Let’s pray it together:
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” (Psalm 143:8 NIV)
Amen!
Your time is valuable!
You are a miracle!
