Find the courage

Publication date Jan 27, 2022

Winston Churchill was one of the greatest leaders in the history of our planet. As most of you know, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime were set on conquering the world and eliminating the Jews, the Gypsies, and the disabled. Hitler was a megalomaniac who had a distorted vision of a master race that would rule the world, but one man seemed to stand in the way of European conquest: Winston Churchill. Although his beloved nation was being constantly bombarded, Churchill encouraged people on his daily radio show with words like these:

  • “I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.”
  • “Never, never, never give up.”
  • “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”

Do you have this same kind of attitude? Let’s face the facts—our world leaders seem to be terrified by viruses. Although these viruses are real, I’m convinced that fear will neither liberate nor protect us. President Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

I want to encourage you to renounce all fear. I believe that the Spirit of God needs to fill you like He filled Gideon: “Then the Spirit of the LORD came on Gideon, and he blew a trumpet, summoning the Abiezrites to follow him.” (Judges 6:34, NIV) I love the way the Spirit of God transformed one man who then helped lead a nation.

Could it be that the Spirit of God will help you acquire better vision, solutions, and the courage to fly higher? Winston Churchill found the courage to lead before he found the right words. He found the faith to overcome before he had a strategy.

friend, I’m not sure what trials you are facing right now, but I know God loves you and is willing to fill you with His Spirit, wisdom, and strength because you are His miracle.

And I see you as an overcomer!
