It isn’t all that festive on Christmas day… 🤭 🎄✨

Publication date Dec 8, 2025

Wow, you probably didn’t expect a title like that, right?

A day when everything is beautifully decorated, delicious food is waiting, and the air feels festive. But think about it… this day wasn’t all that festive for Mary and Joseph. After all, we’re talking about a birth—exhausting, painful, and happening in a stable!

Mary had been told, “...You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great…” (Luke 1:30-33 NIV) 🌟

Yes, it said, “He will be great,” but at that moment, He was still very small. A baby… There was no visible sign yet of all that was to come. It could have been just another ordinary birth—if not for what happened next:

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them … the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you’ … Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.’”  (Luke 2:8-14 NIV

The shepherds immediately hurried off to find Jesus. And after seeing the child, “they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child.” (Luke 2:17 NIV)

Not only that, but they returned, "glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen.” 🎶🎤🐑 (Luke 2:20 NIV)

The angels and shepherds gave glory and honor to God—that’s what turned Christmas into a true celebration!

So, if you’re not “feeling the Christmas spirit”—or even a little disappointed—don’t let that feeling fool you.

Pause… and worship!

Yes, worship Jesus Christ, the One who can turn even an ordinary or heavy day into one filled with true joy!

I wish you a worship-filled Christmas! ✨

You are a miracle!
