God doesn’t need the best

Publication date Jun 27, 2026

Whether in a job, a church, or a team, anyone who works with people has thought this: “These people are so good at what they do. So professional. So strong. So successful.”

And then the fear comes: “What if I can’t continue at this level without THEM?”

Here is a truth that is often forgotten: God has never depended on working with “the best.”

The Bible is full of examples:

Moses was not good at speaking. (see Exodus 4:10)David was just a shepherd. (see 1 Samuel 16:11)The disciples? Fishermen. Uneducated. Ordinary men.

And yet it says:

“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things… so that no one may boast before him.” (1 Corinthians 1:27-29, NIV

Why?

Because God is not looking for perfection. He is looking for availability.

People can be impressive—talented, skilled, strong. But if their heart is not in the right place, their talent loses its divine impact.

When the heart is not aligned, it cannot carry what God wants to build. And that’s why you can be surrounded by “the best” and still feel something is missing.

Or you can work with people who are imperfect, but whose hearts deeply love God, and His presence will carry everything they do. What matters more to you?

Quality is important, but it is not the foundation.

Because God can do MORE with an open heart than with the greatest talent.

I’ve seen this in my own life, which is why I firmly believe: God can still give you MORE through LESS.

Don’t be afraid. God is with those who live FIRST for Him. 🙌🏻

You are a miracle!
