How important is prayer to you?

I think we all know—at least in theory—that more would happen if we prayed more.

We think of those sweet grandmas at church who’ve made it their mission to pray for others. And those prayers really have changed things!

You know, God knows your entire life—and that’s why He understands you better than you even understand yourself!

“You have examined my heart and know everything about me.” (Psalm 139:1 NLT) it says in the Psalms.

He’s not expecting you to carve out an hour every day just to pray. Although… If I'm honest, it could actually be possible, when I think about how much time I have for a movie or scrolling on social media… 🫣

But still—God knows those things bring you joy, and He’s not trying to take away what’s good for you! (And you'll learn for yourself what's good for you—and what’s not. 😉)

So what could “praying more” look like in practice?

It’s super simple: Walk through your day and talk to Him in your heart about everything you encounter. Everything. The challenges. The disappointments. All of it.

See a tired mom at the checkout with her crying kids? Bless her and ask God to meet her right there. Oh, how I love doing that!

And I always imagine angels being sent out right then to step into that woman’s life! Just imagine—one day in heaven, someone says, “Remember when you prayed for that person? That was me.” 🥰

Oh, that really makes me want to pray more! Even if it’s in “little bites,” spread out over the day. Now I understand what the Bible means more deeply when it says:

“Never stop praying.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NLT)

Don’t let life steal what prayer can restore—for you and others, it opens the door!

You are a miracle!
