“This is definitely GOOD news! 🥳”

Are you still watching the news, friend? That used to be a big thing before social media. I still remember how we kids had to be really quiet so that Dad could watch the news on TV. But have you ever wondered why it's called “news”?
Because the news we hear or read isn’t guaranteed to be GOOD. It’s not always BAD either. And that's why they simply leave out the adjective. It’s just “the news."
However, God has given you news that is really GOOD, friend! Yes, when we talk about the Bible, we’re always talking about the “Good News”!
Just take the first page of the letter to the Ephesians. Go ahead and take a moment to read it. There is SO MUCH GOOD in it for you, friend! For example:
“God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This was what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” (Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT).
How GOOD is this news?! God reached out to us to be in His presence through sending Jesus, His son.friend, do you understand what all this one verse says? God… G-O-D, whose voice the whole world responds to and before whom every, yes, EVERY knee will bow (see Romans 14:11), WANTED YOU to belong to Him and live in His presence!
friend, this is news that is really good—and always uplifting!
And it continues in the letter to the Ephesians to explain that through your connection with Christ, these promises (that you’ve become His child) also apply to you, who have now heard the word of truth (see Ephesians 1:13).
Ah, this GOOD NEWS is for YOU—and for those who are just now coming to faith. Maybe even through you? Maybe even today?
What do you think, friend: Who could you share some REALLY GOOD news with today?
You are a miracle!
