“Will you welcome them in your home?”

“Wow, did you hear what people said about God again?”

Yeah, as soon as you step out the door, go to work, or simply go online, you’ll come across people who are against God, or even those who claim to believe but mix it with new age ideas. Simply because they don’t know any better…

Do you think it’s effective to try to teach these people with a finger-wagging approach, friend? N-E-V-E-R.

“Know-it-alls” destroy, while love heals.

I love this somewhat unknown story from the Bible. It’s about Apollos, an eloquent man who had already heard about Jesus, but didn’t know everything about the faith. He must have been quite passionate about his new faith, because it says: “He [Apollos] began to speak boldly in the synagogue.” (Acts 18:26 NIV)

And now comes the part that’s important for us today, friend:

“...When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preaching boldly in the synagogue, they took him aside and explained the way of God even more accurately.” (Acts 18:26 NLT)

Instead of posting: “Wow, don’t listen to what Apollos is saying! He’s not truly believing,” and gossiping about him with their friends after church, they WENT TO Apollos, met him where he was, and invited him into their home.

Do you notice? Priscilla and Aquila didn’t put Apollos on the spot in front of others or correct him. I can even imagine that Priscilla prepared a nice meal and that they listened to Apollos first before “teaching” him.

When we approach people WITH LOVE and try to UNDERSTAND, hearts will change by God’s mighty hand.

friend, let’s make the decision today to always put love FIRST—ahead of being a know-it-all!

Are you in?

Thank you for your love!

You are a miracle!
