Wait! This isn’t the moment

Have you ever been in a situation where you thought, “Help, I need a solution NOW!” And before turning to God, you quickly tried every possible solution you could think of just to keep things moving?

Recently, I found myself in the same situation. I had such a human reaction to such a human problem that even now, as I tell you this, I feel embarrassed. You’d think the author of 365 miracle emails a year would have a better response to unexpected problems than to try everything humanly possible to solve them, haha!

friend, even Sarah, Abraham’s wife, was in a situation like this where she reacted in a human way because she couldn’t see a solution anymore. In her old age and after so many human attempts, she was convinced she would never become a mother. So, she accepted that a slave would become Abraham’s concubine and give them the child they longed for.

friend, honestly? Sarah paid a very high price for her human solution when God wanted to bless her—in His timing.

Don’t act in your timing just because you don’t know His timing!

When Abraham was 99 years old—and it was humanly impossible for him to become a father—God said to him: “I will make you extremely fruitful. Your descendants will become many nations, and kings will be among them… I am your God… and I will give you the entire land of Canaan, where you now live as a foreigner.” (from Genesis 17:6-8 NLT) 

friend, do you see how it says here: “I will… I am… I will give…!” Every miracle begins with the one who says: “I AM here for you!” (Exodus 3:14 NLT) 

It doesn’t say: “Try everything humanly possible to find a solution to your problem.” It says: “I will!” And,* |FNAME|*, in the Psalms, you are even encouraged not to freak out just because you haven’t seen a solution yet, friend: “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10 NLT)

“I am with you!” (Psalm 46:11 NLT). Your loving Father reminds you today, friend! Because He has a divine solution for your human problem! A solution worth waiting for, because divine timing is so much better than your human plan!
