“Why do you believe in God, friend?”

That’s a good question, isn’t it? 🤷‍♀️

It’s one we rarely ask ourselves when we’re already “in it”—when we’ve been believers for a long time. So: why do you believe in God? 🤔

For many, many years now, I’ve been invited to small and large stages to share my experiences of life’s challenges—and God’s miraculous interventions—to encourage people to believe in this powerful God too.

Yes, having experienced Him personally is one of the reasons I believe in Him. I believe because I’ve encountered Him. Have you ever experienced God’s intervention in some way? A moment when you just knew: “That was You, dear Father?”

friend, today I have a request—straight from heaven—that I want to pass on to you. I’d understand if you’re feeling disappointed right now, thinking: “I don’t feel God. He never answers me. I imagined my life would turn out so differently… it’s hard for me to keep believing.”

Your faith—your continued BELIEF—is necessary to soon receive ALL the answers! Your faith isn’t just a “nice thing” you practice while you’re here on Earth. No, your faith has a goal! Are you aware of that? It’s written in the Bible:

“You love Him even though you have never seen Him … The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:8-9 NLT) 

And yes, going through tough times shouldn’t be a surprise. In the same chapter, we read: “...even though you must endure many trials for a little while.” (1 Peter 1:6 NLT) 

Now comes the request from heaven, friend: “So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.” (1 Peter 1:13 NLT) 

This means: “Don’t let current events distract you—they will surely come to an end! What truly remains is the joy—in all eternity!”

Let’s keep believing and stay in the race, running together toward the goal of our faith!
