Wouldn’t that be exactly what’s needed right now? 😉

Could it be that you’re doing things—even “for God”—but it’s exactly those things that are pushing you to your limit?

And don’t worry, I’m not about to say: “Then just drop everything, do nothing, and only take care of yourself.” That’s kind of the message of our times. But thankfully, we have the heavenly message to listen to. 😇

When we hear the story of Martha and Mary, and how Mary IMMEDIATELY sat at Jesus’ feet when He visited, we tend to think: “Come on, Martha, you could’ve done the same! It was JESUS, after all! What could possibly be more important?” 🤔

But let’s be honest—don’t we do the exact same thing? We’re running around trying to get everything ready for the guests. We’re running to grab drinks for our small group. We’re running because we want to prepare for the worship rehearsal.

But… while we’re running—aren’t we also running right past Jesus? 🏃‍♀️

When was the last time you sat down just to be with Jesus? Not to do anything for Him, but just to be with Him and learn from Him?

Jesus said: “There is only one thing worth being concerned about…” (Luke 10:42 NLT).

We struggle so much to believe that—and the enemy does everything to rob us of the truth that when you sit at Jesus’ feet, He sets you back on your feet—stronger than before!

Yes, even if that means your guests don’t get a five-course meal, but a cold platter instead. Because God can accomplish what your hands could never prepare! And He does it while you’re sitting at His feet—before you collapse under the pressure! 😮

Yes, make sure you’re sitting at His feet before the pressure breaks you. Because He’s there—to catch you and to carry you through the storm!

You are a miracle!
