I don’t know your story, but I know that life isn’t a long lazy river… Painful experiences, unfortunately, make us aware that people we meet aren’t always, in the long run, kind to us.
Perhaps you’ve gone through a difficult situation, and today, you’re no longer able to trust.
- Did someone make you a promise and didn’t keep it?
- Were you betrayed in your marriage?
- Have you opened your heart and been judged and criticized?
- Did your best friend disappoint you?
I understand and would like to reassure you: Jesus is worthy of your trust. Because He only wants your good! He will never hurt you. And if someone were to rise up against you, He would defend you.
Numbers 23:19 affirms this: “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (the Bible, NLT)
Even if others have lied to you, hurt you, or betrayed you, be assured that as for Jesus, He will never hurt you. He only wants your good.
Yes, He is trustworthy! Let’s rejoice in this truth as we listen to Lauren Daigle sing “Trust In You.”
Right now, I invite you to open your heart to God, to trust Him completely in every area of your life. Simply pray…“Jesus, I believe in You. Thank You for reminding me that You are worthy of my trust. I come to You now. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Thank you Eric. I was quite disheartened today. As I read this day’s message the verse Numbers 23:19, it came as an encouragement to me, giving me hope, faith for what I believe God has promised me for this season if my life. I will Trust Him and His sovereign will to accomplish His plans in my life for to reveal His greatness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Friday morning was a stormy day when at my doorstep a Sargent had my son arrested was in carserated my heart was heartbroken Saturday the next day at 3 was my Daughters college graduation with high honors my life sometimes is like a ⚖️Scale it balanced up with the GOOD but it’s very hard God is my REFUGE AND MY STRENGTH my son Paid the tickets with time was released yesterday Saturday night the rest is pending is back with girlfriend he is ok now THANK YOU JESUS with my daughter we celebrated with her GREAT ACHIEVEMENT very proud of her THANK YOU JESUS! God bless my fsmily! PLEASE keep both in your prayers thank you again for your messages always give me courage to stay on the right track. WITH JESUS!
