Fight the good fight, finish the race!

The book of Acts (the Bible, Acts 18:1-26) tells us about Paul meeting Aquila and Priscilla. This couple had been forced to flee Rome because of persecution. They had lost everything, left their home, their work, and most likely, their family. However, their story doesn’t end with their escape. We know the crucial role they played… companions of Paul in the work of God, ministers of the first church, their names have endured through the centuries and are still known to this day.

What is your reaction when “it’s not going well” and you have to retreat? Could you believe that the Lord is in the midst of preparing something else, something beautiful, that will be the fulfillment of His will for your life?

The rejection or injustice you’re sometimes subjected to might indeed challenge your faith. But may discouragement never be an obstacle to the marvelous plan God is accomplishing in your life!

Fight the good fight, finish the race…the Lord has good things in store for you!
