Get ready to sort through things!

It’s often when you’re moving that you realize how much you’ve accumulated and kept…and how much room it takes. So you decide to sort through things by emptying them out! You throw or give away what you don’t need anymore, such as clothes that are too small, too big, or too out of style.
What if you threw out your old clothes today and received new ones from the Father in their place? Here is what the Bible declares…

“To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” (The Bible, Isaiah 61:3)

God desires to pour His oil of joy over you and clothe you with a garment of praise! In order to receive it, you have to take off your “old clothes,” which may be…

• A bad habit
• Fear of not being “on top of your game”
• A hidden sin that you haven’t yet been able to conquer

I invite you to rid yourself of it by laying it at the foot of the cross and never taking it up again! No matter your past or where you’ve come from, believe that God is faithful and will help you walk in newness of life with Him!

Pray with me…“Lord, I leave my old garment at the foot of the cross! This bad habit I can’t seem to break, this guilt that I’ve been carrying for so long…I leave it in Your hands. Thank You for Jesus’s sacrifice that has given me new life. Thank You for Your forgiveness, Your peace, and Your grace that I receive right now by faith! In Jesus’s name, amen!”
