God is going to show you the path to follow

“Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.” (The Bible, Psalm 27:11)

His way isn’t always our way. The Bible says that His thoughts are not our thoughts. (see Isaiah 55:8) He’s wise, and He definitely knows the future. One day, I was in the midst of planning to reorient my life professionally as well as geographically when God said to me, “Eric, this is not My way.” Luckily, I listened to Him because the people that had hired me went bankrupt shortly afterwards…Because God is God, it’s important to ask Him to teach you His way!

His way is that of uprightness. Along His path, you are safe because He walks with you. Along His path, you are hedged in front and behind and God places His hand on you. (see The Bible, Psalm 139:5)
