God knows

“The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’ So I answered, ‘O Lord God, You know.’” (The Bible, Ezekiel 37:1-3)
Maybe right now you’re crossing a valley of death and sadness, a desert of solitude, misery, dry bones. Maybe you’re thinking, “It’s dead, it’s dry, there’s no life here!”

In this passage, God asks Ezekiel a question: “Can these bones live?” In the same way, He’s asking you today, “Do you believe that these bones can live again? That I can do a miracle?”

When God asks this type of question, He already knows the answer. Like Ezekiel, you’re invited to respond, “Lord, You know!” God knows that you’re crossing a valley of sadness.

God knows your situation perfectly!

In the natural, we are limited, our view is limited, our understanding is limited…everything is limited with us! But God is not uninvolved in your situation. The news may be bad, the verdict fatalistic, the diagnosis frightening, but God knows your situation perfectly. He knows your desert, your loneliness, your dryness. If it seems to you that there is no hope, let me tell you…there is a hope, a future, a divine plan that surpasses your understanding!
