Today is a new start!

Today, a new day…is beginning!

The Bible says, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” (The Bible, Lamentations 3:22-23)

Just as His mercies are new every morning, the possibilities are, too!

• Yesterday evening, did you go to bed disappointed in yourself?…This morning is a new start!
• Yesterday, did you get unjustly or wrongfully angry in the face of a situation?…Today, God’s forgiveness has already erased it all.
• Yesterday, did you feel discouraged, lonely, or sad?…God’s mercy and goodness are here this morning, giving you hope again.

All things are possible again, everything is feasible, because God is here, right beside you today.

He is so good. He loves you, just as you are, no matter what you’ve done. He accompanies you on your life’s path. The journey is sometimes winding and encumbered, but God, your Father—your Papa—is always there at your side…and He is gracious to you.

His mercies are new for you this morning!
